The Bastogne-Wiltz-Bastogne 100 km is the main challenge of the event. Starting from Bastogne, the route takes participants into the heart of the Ardennes landscape, between Belgium and Luxembourg, with Kautenbach as the furthest point of the adventure. With 100 km and 3,111 m of elevation gain, the course is rugged but remains generally runnable. It is a distance where you will need to manage your effort, clock up the kilometers, and keep enough energy in the tank to head back toward Bastogne. On Sunday, December 27, a long winter adventure awaits you, with only one goal in sight: Get back to Bastogne and complete the 100 km.

Located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, Bastogne is a town whose name remains deeply linked to European history. It is notably known for being one of the major locations of the Battle of the Bulge during the winter of 1944-1945, an episode whose memory is preserved today by numerous sites, monuments, and museums. But Bastogne is also a town surrounded by forests, valleys, and typical Ardennes landscapes, a region particularly suited to outdoor activities and long distances. It is from this town steeped in history that the participants of Bastogne-Wiltz-Bastogne set off, before heading towards Luxembourg and returning to cross the finish line in Bastogne.

An adventure that begins in an iconic setting, at Wiltz Castle, before setting off to explore the surrounding trails and terrain. The finish will be at the Wiltz sports hall.
